Master’s in Management and Marketing – Marshall University

The Master’s in Sports Management and Marketing degree program provides students with the diverse knowledge and skill set needed in all areas that will optimize chances for future employment in the sports field. The demand for well trained professionals in this area are on the rise. Areas range from administration and sports management, to finance and accounting, as well as promotions and marketing.

Areas of Emphasis:

  • Sports Management

    • The Master’s in Sports Management and Marketing degree with an emphasis in Sport Management, provides students with courses in Marketing Management, Sport Finance, Research methods in Sports studies, and planning and developing HPER and Athletic facilities.

  • Recreation and Physical Activity

Admission Requirements:

  • Option 1

    • An undergraduate grade point average of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale for all previously completed undergraduate university work.

    • At least a 295 combined score on verbal and quantitative reasoning on the GRE or at least 500 on the GMAT

  • Option 2

    • If an applicant has a grade point average 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale, the admissions examination of GRE or GMAT requirement my be waived.
